A grooming glove you wear, so you stroke the loose hair out instead of brushing it. Most dogs sit still for a hand when they won't for a comb, and the soft tips work loose fur out while you fuss them.

The hair peels off in one sheet, with no clogged bristles to pick clean. It works on short and long coats, on cats too if you go gently, and lifts hair off the sofa, bedding and car seats.

There are no sticky refill sheets to keep buying: peel the hair off, rinse under warm water and let it air dry. One size, fits either hand, 80g.

Questions before you buy

Does it work on short-haired dogs?

Yes. Short coats shed just as much — the hair is only harder to see, and it's the type that works its way into upholstery. The tips catch it on the stroke rather than combing it out.

Will my dog actually let me use it?

Most do, and that's rather the point. It's a hand rather than a hard brush, so it reads as being stroked instead of groomed. Start with short sessions along the back and build up from there.

Can I use it on cats?

Yes, same idea. Go gently and stop when they've had enough — cats tend to tell you clearly.

Does it work on the sofa and car seats?

Yes, and it's one of the more useful things about it. Run it over upholstery and the hair gathers into a clump you can lift straight off, rather than smearing around like a dry cloth.

How do I clean it?

Peel the hair off, rinse under warm water and let it air dry. There are no refills and no replacement parts to buy.
