How long does delivery take?

7–12 working days from dispatch. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves us. Tracking often takes 2–3 days to start updating, which is normal.

Where do you ship from?

Rainhound is a UK company based in Kent. Our robes are made and shipped by our manufacturing partner overseas, sent directly to you with all duties and VAT prepaid. You will never be charged anything extra on delivery.

What size does my dog need?

Check our size guide — we list sizes by breed as well as measurements. If you're between two sizes, go up. Still unsure? Email us your dog's breed and measurements and we'll tell you.

Does it actually dry a soaking wet dog?

Yes. The double-layer microfibre pulls water out of the coat rather than just sitting on top of it. Put it on straight after the walk and most of the water is gone within a minute. For a very thick-coated dog, give it a few minutes and a quick rub through the fabric.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash at 30°C and hang to dry. Don't tumble dry, and don't use fabric softener — it coats the fibres and reduces absorbency.

My dog hates having things put on him.

The robe slips over the head with no buckles, clips or straps to fasten. Most dogs tolerate it far better than being towel-dried, because it's one movement rather than two minutes of rubbing.

Will I be charged customs or duty?

No. All prices include UK VAT and duties. There is nothing to pay on delivery.

What if it doesn't fit?

Return it within 30 days, unused and unwashed, for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

My tracking hasn't updated in three days.

This is normal, particularly in the first week and during the international leg. Parcels often go quiet for several days and then update all at once. If nothing has moved after 10 working days, email us with your order number and we'll investigate.
